1. Who is Adaviv? Adaviv is a precision agriculture technology company that was spun-off MIT. Our Lean Cultivation™ Platform generates plant-level intelligence (data) using proprietary machine-vision systems, user-friendly apps and powerful analytics to help cultivators scale their craft, driving revenues higher and margins wider. Lean Cultivation™ consists of using AI-driven software and sensing technologies to enable cultivators and operators to generate and track the right KPIs and optimize plant health, strain/cultivar choices and improve SOPs. These tools minimize waste and downtime in the cultivation, while optimizing communication, response time to issues and, ultimately, growing recipes. It’s the right KPIs, measured accurately, and at scale, to inform and drive digital SOPs to empower our plants.

1. What are Adaviv’s core technologies? Our Lean Cultivation™ Platform uses proprietary machine-vision and AI systems, optical sensing technologies, along with easy-to-use apps and powerful analytics measure, track and actuate on plant-level data. We believe our tech is the future of farming, but is here today to give growers powerful insights to boost yields and productivity. The Adaviv Lean Cultivation Platform brings the Mantis™ Automated Scouter, the Front Line of Cultivation (FLoC) mobile app and the Management Actionboard desktop app to controlled-environment farms of all sizes and types. No-installation or infrastructure changes are required and we work with farms of all sizes and types (indoor, greenhouses, multi-tier). 2. What is the Mantis™ Automated Scouter? The Mantis is a plug-and-play robot, equipped with multiple types of imagers and sensors, allowing us to scan each plant in crop at unprecedented levels of resolution and dimensions, even seeing beyond human capabilities. The system is 4-10x faster at scouting crops than typical human scouters and is 90%+ more accurate at detecting plant health issues, including pests, diseases, pathogens and environmental stressors. The system can also generate plant-level growth and performance KPIs at scale, such as the number of flowers per plant. The system delivers crop health and hotspot maps, reports and even allows virtual scouting, wherein technicians, managers, consultants or specialists can virtually explore every flower and leaf under your roof. 3. What is the Front Line of Cultivation (FLoC) app? Just as the name suggests, our FLoC app is for the frontlines of the cultivation. It’s a digital twin of the farm that allows any technician or manager to geo-tag, view & track problems and tasks in the facility. It's a digital scouting, visibility and communication tool that merges human (growers) and machine (the Mantis). With it, cultivation teams enhance their IPM and Crop Steering Programs by easily digitizing and prioritizing all activities. The result is healthier plants and happier people, both performing to their max. 4. What is the Management Actionboard? The Adaviv Management Actionboard is a Web-based app, allowing managers to have remote visibility on their farm’s health - people and plants - from anywhere. It provides managers real-time visibility on what matters most, such as pressing priorities, hotspots and issue locations. It is also a gateway to powerful analytics such as key trends on plant issues, strain performance, labor, tasks and treatments.
